Claire Greaney

With dancing that has been described as ‘poetry in motion’, Claire Greaney was crowned World Champion an incredible SIX TIMES – making her one of the best, if not the best female Irish dancer in the world. Claire has won all major international dancing titles including the All-Ireland Championships, the British National Championships, the Great Britain Championships, the All-Scotland Championships and the Connaught Championships. She made history in 2011 when she won all titles in the same year, achieving Grand Slam status.

Crowned the first ever Senior Ladies Irish National Champion in Dublin in May 2012, Claire again made history when she won the 2013 Senior World Championships in Boston – her sixth World Title. Claire has starred in the movie ‘Jig’ as well as the TV3 documentary ‘Strictly Irish Dancing’.
