Gerard Fahy

Gerard Fahy is recognised as one of the most accomplished musicians and highly talented composers of contemporary Irish Traditional music. Gerard is the composer and musical director of Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, Dangerous Game. His compositions have also been recorded by a wealth of famous artists, including the world-famous Boston Pops Orchestra.

Gerard is also well-known as the founding member of the chart-topping, turbo Trad band Furry Village – a nine-piece band that fuses traditional, classical and rock elements with strong Celtic melodies throughout, featuring the Uilleann pipes, flutes and whistles.

Gerard composed an original musical – Tara – which received its European premier in the prestigious Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam.
